Food was decent. Drinks were good. Live music was good. I think we need to try it on Sundays instead. Drinks are somewhat pricey.

Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was immaculate. Look for Nelson the next time you decide to pull up. The margaritas are $5 until 3 PM, the mimosas were nonstop until 2 and the atmosphere was everything. They had sushi, breakfast, salad bar, dessert bar, mexican food and tacos! Everything was all you can eat and the visit will be well worth the money spent. If you’re looking for a brunch spot to take your boo for a brunch date, your girls for a quick lil girls day trip or even your entire family, don’t hesitate. El jefe is definitely a place to check out.

Held off the review until our 2nd visit. Granted service on a busy day is slow(1st visit), 2 weeks later the waitress was attentive, made eye contact from a distance to see if we needed anything, so I have mixed emotions about the service. Poor 1st experience but great 2nd time around. Food… The campechana was great, fresh and delicious. Steak picado was great, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Shrimp tostadas are good too. Oysters were fresh, we liked the 805 micheladas, we would buy them again. Yes we plan on returning. Thank you “El Jefe” Good take on outdoor dining, mariscos and drinks. FYI, they had live music on the weekend.

I just found my new favorite Mexican food restaurant! I just ate the best enchilada I’ve ever had. It was chicken with mole sauce. Wish that was all I got. Thevflauta was awesome too as well as the asada sope, but I will be dreaming about the enchilada. Beans were some if the best I’ve had as well. Great service and awesome band.

Food was horrible Camarones Costa Azulejo tasted like a salt lick . Ordered a margarita that tasted more like the cheap mix you can purchase minus the alcohol. We had a laugh when busboy asked one of our friends if they were done with their plate but without acknowledgment from said person just took it away and my friend said “well I guess i am done with it now”.The service was the only positive of the restaurant as our server was on top of everything. First time here by chance,or misfortune, and definitely last time.

Went with parents today band was playing outside but then 15 minutes later they starting setting up next to our table. Had to rush through our meal before they started playing. Yet, they couldn’t wait 5 minutes just for the waitress to get our check so we can go. They just had to starts blasting music right next to us. Atleast offer to move us to another table. If anyone reads this don’t go here it’s and average experience at best.

If you’re curious about the brunch, it’s not worth it. $40 for about 6 Mexican dish options (chicken fajitas, green/red enchiladas, chilaquiles, Chile Verde, birria and civiche), american food, taco section with no al pastor or adobada, and they have sushi, but nothing good. No live music on 8/20 as advertised.
