Four stars only because of price. The food and salsa was delicious. Service was great, quick and polite. Patio is very lovely. The drinks are really big and delicious!

I left the restaurant and as I was heading to my car I said to myself: that was delicious. I ordered shrimp in garlic sauce. The two were combined perfectly. The garlic sauce wasn’t overpowering the other flavors. The dish also had rice and beans. Fresh rice – soft texture, good flavor. Everything was good. Enjoy.

I love this Mexican spot. Free chips and salsa still. The salsa tastes so fresh and the perfect amount of heat. The margs are strong and the chorizo tacos are my fave. Love the rice too!

This was a phenomenal experience! Estalin took great care of our party and made excellent recommendations. I will definitely be coming back for the black margarita and AMAZING guacamole, and his service!

Place is really good, music is nice BUT the service is terrible, the waiter was rude, he took forever to take our orders, he didn’t even ask for the sides that we wanted, or the options. Price are excessive high, 20$ for grilled chicken? Then, the food taste terrible, chilaquiles are the worst. My friends ordered grilled chicken and we took everything to go because was terrible. And finally, the menu said that they add 20% gratuity for parties of 9 or more. We were 5, and they added the 20% tip, when the service was the worst service that I ever had. The cashier added it in front of me and gave me the bill to just sign it! Please, don’t waste your money here.

The place was cute and the service was nice but the prices are exorbitant for the type of restaurant this is. Never have I ever seen arachera and carne asade to be priced “market value” – Id get it if it were lobsters and king crabs but basic mexican beef???The cost of thin arachera with tiny bit of rice and beans was 30$. Margaritas were great but again, paying 17$ for a plastic cup margarita is a bit of an overstretch. I dont like to be negative only so the ambience and the staff were nice but again, if you are trying to eat solid portions for a good price, there are thousands of more appropriate mexican joints.

I don’t understand why there’s not a line out the door every day? The food and margaritas are the best in the city by far. Why would you go to B*g St*r when El Jardin, its food, its people, and it’s amazing music are right down the street. Ask if the kitchen will do the chimichangas but if they don’t get the burritos or tacos.

It was okay. Rice, beans, and drinks were good but tacos were underwhelming and greasy. Food is also over-priced compared to other similar places in the area. Service was not great. Atmosphere is nice.

When I lived in the city many years ago El Jardins was a regular stop. The best Margarita around and highly recommended the carne asada. I highly suggest you give this restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed.
