The food is pretty good for the area. I have eaten here a few times and haven’t been disappointed. The Jalisco special was very tasty, but I would have preferred more shrimp. I wasn’t impressed with the quesadilla’s, but the queso tolerable. The street tacos and beef tacquitos were solid as well. I would like to see a larger beer selection featuring craft beers

I am from Texas & this place has been the closest to authentic Mexican food in Southern Illinois that I’ve had. Trust me, because Mexican food is my top type of food that I love. Service was good & food was nice & hot when they brought it. This place is definitely a must try.

Service is casual and friendly. The servers are polite and helpful. Imo, chicken is the best tasting/seasoned meat served. The salsa is fantastic!

They may be short staffed- it took a long time for a server to show up to get our drinks ordered. There is a language barrier, be prepared for that. The food was delivered quickly, and it is your typical Mexican food fare. It’s passable. Not the worst meal I’ve had.

Very good Mexican food with wide variety of selections. I’d come here more if I had the time. They could use another waiter or two, sometimes hard to get their attention once you’ve been served the main meal.
