Had the molcajete. Generous portion. Absolutely delicious. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, and I eat a lot of it. It’s not a fancy place, but don’t let that deter you. The cook knows what he’s doing here.

Excellent food, reasonably priced. Small, cozy dining room. We eat there every time we go to Kemmerer. Covid kept us home for 4 years, but we were glad El Jaliciense was still in business and the food was still great. I had Molcajete this time and Steak Picosa the week before. Both were excellent. My wife had a Chicken Fajita salad both times and enjoed both.

The best Mexican food by far. I had the chicken fajitas quesadillas which were so good. The food was by far better than anything I can get in San Jose CA. If you are near by be sure to stop. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
