The owner is such a wonderful person and their chilaquiles are super delicious! Best chilaquilas by far and his homemade lemonades are boooomb! I usually do take out because it is quite small and we are a family of 5 Would definitely recommend

This little, hometown, hole in the wall is delightful and yummy. These mostly Spanish speaking guys do it with heightened authenticity. I would say the menu is on the small side, except that they actually have a real chef in residence. Me: “I’ll have whatever Chef made today.” I like adventure and small businesses. El Jalapeño’s chef sells tamales and pasole on certain mornings — and they cater.
