It’s tough to produce bad Mexican food and this place has done it. The restaurant drive thru is on the wrong side of the building, so I decided to dine in. The restaurant was clean and bathroom smelled cleaned. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the food was just disappointing. Priced way too high for the amount of food received. The food tasted old and as if it was just reheated in a microwave. The salsa bar was ok at best. Just not gonna return here.

Best Mexican food around! Love that they are open late for late night food. It’s always the same guy who seems to be the owner. Love his little basket on a stick! Burritos and tacos are excellent. The steak is fire.

I’ve been coming here for YEARS. One thing in particular I love is their salsa. And it’s not just me. I’ve gotten my friends and family hooked. There is nothing like it out there. It’s so good whenever I’m in the area I HAVE to stop in and grab tacos, burritos, the yummy quesadillas and obviously the salsa. It’s a family owned business so it’s nice to support them and get great food. They’re also open super late, so if you get the munchies….this is THE place to go for some good Mexican food. BTW their chili is absolutely amazing. Love El Hogar.

I’m on the edge for this review. I really enjoy that this place is open late, but I’m really frustrated with their posted hours.

Wasn’t a big fan at first, a little different than I’m used to, seasoning wise. But always had a good meal, steak is good(no grizzle/fat), beans served in a fried tortilla like a mini taco salad, rice always fresh. Tacos, burritos, tortas all good, fresh churros Never had a complaint, perfect late nite go-to spot

My husband and I decided to try something new because our usual go-to Mexican restaurant was closed… NEVER AGAIN! I ordered a regular steak burrito just to drive all the way home and find no steak. We call to let the restaurant know of their error. The guy in the phone was very rude and kept telling us that we were lying and they never forget to put the meat. Well here’s a photo of the burrito… but where’s the steak??? next time I’ll just go hungry

Placed an order for pick up without knowing they had a drive-thru .he told me it would be ready in 15 minutes . Proceeds to take my order without telling me the lobby closes at 10pm . I pull up and have to wait in the drive thru . Once I get to the window . I explain to him I had placed an order for pick up . And was here to pick up my food . He tells me I have to wait for the other cars in front of me , even though my order was already made . Pretty much . I paid $14 for the coldest food i have ever received from a “restaurant “ .

Pictured below is a $12, “double meat” burrito. To make it worse, we called ahead to place our order and the girl made us wait 10 minutes behind the car who had just placed their order. This place has gone downhilll. Will never go back. Taco Bell would have given me twice the food for half the price.

I love Mexican food but this is the most terrible tasting Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. They didn’t even have frisca or pico.
