This is exactly what I was looking for. I’m from Connecticut and we don’t have places like this. Everything about El Grullo Restaurant was great. The woman who served us was kind and friendly. The restaurant was clean and airy. The service was super quick and the food was amazing. I had a burrito and I’m not entirely sure what was in it. I asked her for the best one and she brought me the one she likes. The flavors in it were perfect. The sauce she said was hot had a great flavor and I didn’t find it to be terribly spicy. I would go back often if I could.

For those who get to experience this restaurant without any seasoning or any additives I tasted this soup in the Menudo best in the bay I’ve had from the portion to The Taste to the texture everything is made again beautiful environment and so clean you can eat off the floor

I accidentally walked in to this Restaurant. I’m so happy I did. The caldo de pollo (chicken soup) I ordered was super, super, super delicious. The homemade corn tortillas the Mexican rice was a bomb. The price was reasonable under $16. The ambient was pleasant. Prices were visible on the wall and on the menu. The place looked very clean. The staff was constantly asking if they can do anything else for me and if everything was going well. I will definitely go her again.

Dry taco meat still tasted bloody and gamey plus served old pepper, why not grill fresh? Also the rice was really dry and tortilla was greasy and hard. Would not have again. Left the tacos just ate rice. Must buy drink after drink no fountain drinks so no refill.

Stopped by for a late night dinner to go. The carne asada burrito was flavorful and you can taste the big chunks of avocado in their guacamole! Great service and gave us sauces and lime without having to ask. They have slot machines which were interesting lol

A hole in the wall spot for seafood. Both myself and dad get shrimp here. Camarones a la diabla if you like them spicy. Hand made tortillas make this place a lock.

Ordered the menudo thru Uber eats, on the app advertised that it came with refried beans and rice and “salad”. No beans, no rice, “salad” was small amount of chopped white onions and minced cilantro. Also ordered orange crush to drink, received Sunkist orange and Sunkist is the only orange soda which contains caffeine which I can’t have. The menudo itself was good but doubt will order from here again.
