Good local Mexican food – burritos and tacos sure but so much more…

The burrito was great. Customer service not the friendliest. Bathroom was okay but without soap. Would sincerely hope those preparing the food are somehow able to wash their hands.

For the best tacos in Redwood City this is the place to go. My favorite one since they have a few restaurants is close to downtown on Middlefield Rd. Tacos are the best. Every chance I get To be in Redwood City we make it a thing that before we leave Redwood City we stop and get some food. If you haven’t tried them before you’re missing out.

Overpriced and for what, their food? And talking about price? How do you know what anything cost with a menu that has no prices displayed. They are covered with tape so it all market pricing. THAT’s why when I order the same thing the price is always different! Place sucks and so many better places. Place is a mess.

The tacos are quite good. Service is quick. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Open late.

Im not sure how this place have so many good reviews because I was expecting a lot more than what I got. I ordered a special burrito and the beans were undercooked and super super hard, so hard that i actually had to open the burrito to hand pick them out. The carne asada is ground beef, I am not sure if this is normal but it was almost giving the consistency of taco bell taco meat… and they don’t even bother to warm up the outside of the burrito. It was large, but totally inedible and underseasoned. I almost give it 2 stars because while the food was extremely disappointing, the horchata was pretty good and the staff was friendly, but that was literally the worst burrito I have had in my life and I’ve probably tried burritos at more than 50 places. Also the place does look pretty old and it doesn’t look very clean inside, it smells and looks very musty and outdated.

Delicious al Pastor taco salad. Shell is perfectly crispy. Layers of flavor made for an enjoyable meal. Wet carne asada burrito was also very tasty. Rice is perfectly cooked, fluffy and flavorful. Complimentary chips and salsa was a nice touch. Fast service for 1pm lunch time on a Saturday. Not too busy.

If you’re in Redwood City, you gotta appreciate the place (and the local chain). This is a Redwood City institution. The food is solid. The menu is vast. The service is efficient. As you would expect from this kind of place.

Large clean place with friendly service. Average food, I had a Torta Ahogada and 2 chicken Flautas, the Torta was bland and the Flautas were crispy andserved with lattes and sliced tomato.
