Pretty good place with a very bright interior serving really good tacos, burritos and Mexican food in general. People are very nice and friendly (helps a lot if you have some Spanish). The rajas are excellent, the tacos fresh though the meat was a bit gristly and the same with the chili colorado burrito. But it was all very flavorful! 3.5 stars!

This place never fails, from breakfast to lunch I’ve been here (sometimes twice a day) and the food is always delicious and hot. Clean and the atmosphere is very pleasant plus the owner always comes by the table to ask how we are enjoying our food. The burritos and green salsa are my absolute favorite with a cup of coffee, my son enjoys the smoothies and papas mexicana and my neices love the menudo. You can’t go wrong with anything, my absolute favorite and all I crave when I leave ELP.

Delicious food in a little place. Be patient this is not a fast food restaurant, if you plan to sit down you will receive the best service and amazing Mexican food. It reminded me of my Grandma’s cooking and that is a big compliment. Highly recommend! Eunice the owner came to greet us and was a gracious hostess.

Delicious food, great service. This is my new favorite place to eat. We sat down for breakfast here, but we took gaorditas for later because everything looked so good. The owner, Eunice, came to thanks us for coming. The place is taken care of by family, they are very proud of their food and service.

7/21/2023 I walk in to order food to go , the girl helping me acted as if I was asking for a hand out, not only that she couldn’t even address herself to me properly since her mouth was full of food( absolutely not acceptable) .. to the tall bleached hair girl : If you don’t like your job maybe you should find your calling and perform your duties with a smile

Used to be one of our favorite go-to places on the west side, but since the owner is seldom present, attention to detail has been lost. Staff is so loud, can’t have a normal conversation at the table. Restaurant is not clean, and food is not as good. We miss her presence and professionalism.

Was coming from Remcon postoffice, heading to my normal burrito spot when I saw a person holding a ‘burritos’ sign at the corner of Remcon & Mesa. So I pulled into the shopping area & spotted El Girasol and decided to give it a try. I liked it so much, that instead of taking my meal to go, I decided to eat my breakfast burrito there and ordered a coffee to go with it.
