Grew up in the valley enjoying Gallo Giro in Panorama City, I was excited to see they had one in Fontana. I was only in the area for a Kaiser appointment. Nonetheless, the 1lb burrito at $7 brought me in! But dannng let me just say the tamales are pricey! I guess I shouldn’t feel that bad since I got the burrito at a cheaper price. But next time I would just skip the tamales and just go for the burrito, it was hot, flavorful and juicy… get the carnitas with red and green sauce, ask for limes!

Right when you walk in, you’re greeted with a smile and a delicious aroma of bolillos baking. There’s fresh conchas set out on trays and several varieties of agua fresca. While my family was in the mood for tortas, I needed some pozolé for this cloudy day. The soup was perfectly spiced and was served with tostadas, radishes, cabbage, and lemon slices. My daughter got the ham and egg torta which came with panela, beans and avocado. My husband got the Super Gallo breakfast torta which came with eggs, fried sliced hot dogs, ham, cheese, beans and avocado. As we were about to leave we had to take some pan dulce for the road and an agua de sandia (watermelon). 10/10!

Easy to find. Lots of parking. Limited seating. Staff are friendly. Lots of pastry. I come here for their carne asada plate. They need to clean their tables more often.

The food and the quality was excellent no complaints about the quality or the freshness of the flavors everything was just as expected. They practice good hygiene and cleaning there are plenty of seats and parking and they have a drive thru.

Food is fresh and has a lot of flavor but the carne asada has nothing but fat. We were very disappointed after paying $10 for a torta and $9 for a burrito that was filled with fatty carne. The overall flavor was good but it was hard to overlook the quality of the meat. The jamaica was watered down and definitely not one of our favorites or worth the price of $5. You may have better luck with their chicken I’m not sure we didn’t try it.

I drove to Gallo Giro to get the free Mothers Day plate. I was not aware their drive thru was closed and i had three of my younger children with me (including a toddler and baby). As a mom you should know what a hassle it is to take kids in and out of a car. I called to see if i can place an order including the free mother’s day meal. I explained i have younger children which is a hassle and very time consuming to take out and put them back in the car, and I was by myself. The first time i was put on hold for five minutes. I hung up and called again. I asked again and heard the worker asking another lady and the lady yelled out saying no that i had to come inside with all my kids to prove that I was a mom. I was so disappointed. It’s not my fault the drive thru was closed. And for the sake of mother’s day why couldn’t they understand and make a mom’s life a little easier. I didn’t get down, I went somewhere else.

It took me a little bit to find what I wanted, they have alot of food here. The meat is full of flavor and service was fast at 18:00. I dont speak Espanol so I missed my number twice. All in all it was a good experience.
