We were greatly looking forward to this restaurant based on the online reviews and recommendation from a friend. The atmosphere is really cool, is authentic and rustic with lots of traditional Mexican food. Overall, the food is excellent, however, we had a very bad experience with the Molcajete dish we ordered. The waiter told us the dish is mild. This could not have been further from the truth. It was extremely spicy and we continuously sweated while eating it. We do enjoy relatively spicy Mexican food, however, this dish was way too hot for us. Also, it was extremely salty and very fatty. In particular, the beef had hunks of fat on it. Both my wife and I felt sick until the next morning which we suspect was due to the high fat and salt content of the dish. We did tell the waiter the dish was not mild like he said, but instead very spicy. However, he did not provide much of a response. He also did not make the situation right for us. However, we ordered the Molé with pork and it was excellent. Chips and salsa were also excellent.

Let me start by saying this place is bomb and the service and staff are great. I got the Chile relleno and it is amazing. My mom got green enchiladas amazing everyone enjoyed the food. Everyone agreed my plate was the best.

Food – I ordered the enchiladas plate and asked for green sauce with shredded chicken. It came with a side of rice and beans. In my opinion, if the sauce had not been so heavily salted, the dish/food rating would have been a solid 5 stars. The beans were really good. I am definitely willing to try this place again, considering the taste I got of my partners fajitas was delicious. I would highly recommend getting the fajitas.

I don’t recommend this Mexican restauran for people that really know mexican food. I asked a barbacoa and instead I had a pork meat with a raw chile güajillo salsa , and beans without any special flavor. About service, people was friendly and atmosphere was ok.

Great food, atmosphere and service. Their Oaxacan mole was great and spices were balanced. The guacamole & salsa and chips were freshly made and phenomenal. Portion sizes were VERY generous 🙂 Definitely recommended.

The food was really good. Cant say enough good things about the guy waiting on our table. Total nice guy, even joked around with us. My wife and I have been here a few time and have yet to be disappointed. If I have one complaint is that the music is a little loud inside and makes it just a little hard to have a conversation. Other than that, this place is great. Come on down, im sure you like it.
