I noticed “hidden gem” in another review and I couldn’t agree more. The El Cubano was one of the best Cuban sandwiches that I’ve had in a long time. We also got the Ropa Vieja and that was outstanding too. It had more of a homestyle flavor, like someone’s Abuelita made it. Stop in and give this a try, you will not be disappointed.

My husband is from the Dominican Republic and we live up in Duluth, MN where we have no Dominican food options. We’ve been trying different Cuban and Dominican style restaurants when visiting the twin cities area and we finally stumbled upon this AMAZING place a month or two ago.

An absolute hidden gem in West St paul. In my opinion this place absolutely beats any other Cuban restaurant in the twin cities. Authentic food, authentic atmosphere, and some of the most friendly and courteous service you’ll ever experience from this family-run business! A beautiful couple runs this restaurant and in my opinion it’s one of the best, and quietest places you’ll find with absolutely exceptional food. I bought the Cubano, and the cheesecake both phenomenal.

Just left this place after having a delicious meal and had to give them a review right away. Food was incredible and the people working were so nice as well. One of our new favorite spots to eat now! Already can’t wait to go back.
