I order from this restaurant at least twice a week. I absolutely love the chicken and rice, which I add pineapple also. I have never had a bad experience here at all.

We’ve been going here for years and the food is usually fine… I’d say better than average. However, the service has been declining over our last several visits… some visits are fine and then there are experiences like this afternoon’s. We had a party, so we already knew they would include tip; however, paying a tip implies that you get service worth paying a tip. We had lackluster service with many empty drinks, including margaritas.

Took a small group and stopped for lunch before going to Monster jam in Huntsville AL. Got there 10 minutes before opening. Got seated quickly, everyone placed their orders and we had our meals shortly. Chips were nice and warm. Great guac.

Usually get Pollo Loco which is amazing there. This time ordered Chicken Fajitas. Also good. Waitress forgot about me. Ran out of drink. Never got bill. I went to front to pay and manager(owner?) saw I didn’t have bill and wouldn’t let me pay. I tried. He insisted. Good gesture. Still giving 5 star because there service is typically very good.

First time going, it’s been in Gurly since I’ve lived here (2010) and our dinner was amazing!! No wait at all and dinner was in front of us only 15 minutes after ordering! We never had to ask for anything! GREAT FOOD! Very nice staff!!

It was opening day at ball fields, so I guess they were not prepared for a crowd. We were not even greeted when we came in. After 35 min we got our cold food. Then had to ask for a drink. Now the food looked amazing, but it was cold nonetheless. I’m hoping it was just a short staffed problem.

El Coyote has been up and down with its quality over the years but lately they have been spot on with their food, especially my go to Grilled Chicken Nachos. I hope they can keep running as well as they are right now because they are the closest Mexican restaurant to my house and one of the few places to eat in Gurley. So keep up the good work El Coyote and I look forward to having some more Nachos here soon.
