The food is really good. Super cheap and the place was really clean when I visited. They only sell meat such as Alambre and pastor. In my case we went there for breakfast and I about 1 hour later a lot of people started to fill in the place so I recommend that if you’re planing to go eat to go early.

We were visiting El Paso, and a friend brought us here for authentic Mexican food.

It was Delish!!! Especially enjoy the fact that they stay open late. Now a days can’t find anything open at night. I had the flautas today. Everything is delicious

The flautas (rolled tacos) are great and the only reason we continue to return when in El Paso, but this place is far from perfect. From the extremely loud music that makes it hard to hear your name being called, to the dirty tables, to the bad quality ingredients. This location never fails to disappoint in one way or another. Tonight’s visit wasn’t my most unpleasant, but I thought I’d share a photo of the avocado I was given. Someone served that brown blob and thought it was okay.

Was a very calm and welcoming environment but that’s about it for this place. Toppings bar was as messy as one can imagine and the amount of time I waited for our meal was a whopping 20 minutes. After waiting we received our meal looked very appetizing till I noticed mold in our cheese. At first I believe it was something else but more and more started to pop out in my plate and my family members. After notifying the staff they were very professional about it but that’s all the pleasant experience I had today.

Food is always good. I used to really like their flautas when they 1st established here in El Paso then they got greedy with the sour cream. Still one of our go to spot. It’s always a fun late night food and people watch

I won’t go ever again to this place in not the one used to be really unorganized way too packed overcrowded. A/c no cooling properly .IF YOU GO THERE ITS ON YOU OWN RISK REMEMBER I TOLD YOU!!!!TACOS AL PASTOR looks more like ground beef tacos. They fire from the tacos industry..AGAIN IF YOU GO ITS ALL ON YOU IF YOU LIKE GOOD FOOD AND LIKE YOU MONEY DONT GO THERE

El Cometa is worth the hype. My favorite are their flautas. You are able to indulge in their full salsa bar to top your flautas. The to-go packing is also great! Try going during the week, the weekends are packed and you will wait. It is worth it though.

Travel five hours to eat there, the food was ok not the best Mexican food. Tried almost everything on the menu, the Flutas about the best tasting food on the menu . Found a hair in my daughter plate and one in my food. We will never return.

Diner has mainly tables for four but if you wait a bit, they can pull a couple together. Food and service are amazing. Aguas frescas and can sodas. A little pricey but well worth it.
