Always the best everything, the service and the food. My favorite place to dine. The drive is a ways but worth it. I hate that they closed the location that was closer to me. I love El Chico and the everybody there. They treat you better than family and the house frozen Margaritas are like no other! Delicious!❤❤❤

Great place to go with a group for lunch after church! The servers excel at keeping all the chip bowls and drinking glasses filled, but they’re also very quick and the food comes out piping hot and delicious! They also offer a discount if you show them your current church bulletin!

El Chico’s is as good as I remember. The food delish, the hostess and server both awesome. I miss the Spanish music, otherwise the atmosphere is festive.

El Chico needs updating in Pantego. They used to be top notch for miles around..line out the door, but over 25 years they have not really done anything to the restaurant. Doors are dirty, booths are old, still half dark atmosphere. They seat everyone next to you because they are not busy, so easier on staff, but terrible for conversation.

It’s all about money. If you order fajitas and you want beef and chicken they charge you more because you’re getting beef and I think that’s ridiculous and I used to bring a drink into the store to the restaurant because I’d be at a store and I didn’t want to sit out in the vehicle and get hot so I’d carry it in with me and they said you could not bring in no drinks from outside inside anymore so I think it’s all about money and tips as well Plus it’s not as good as it used to be either if you order enchiladas it’s like it’s kind of dried up the cheese is kind of dried up or the chili sauce what’s been sitting back there and they’ll bring it to you and they’ll say watch it the plates very very hot that’s because it’s been just sitting back there and then they throw it in the oven or microwave that’s why it’s so damn hot but yeah it’s going down

Waitress and staff were very friendly but food in another hand was off my enchiladas were cold the cheese wasn’t even melted on them the asada on top was good rice had no flavor but the green sauce was so salty chips and salsa were good. Restrooms were clean and smelled good but they do need to update the toilets
