El Chele was fabulous! The service was friendly and the food was great. We had 3 different types of papusas– impossible to pick a favorite– and the fried tilapia with seafood rice. It was a whole fried fish and homemade tortillas, and the rice had squid, mussels, shrimp, scallops, and onions. Lots of to-go orders were heading out the door, but dining in was great too.

I have been to this restaurant several times and I’ve always been happy with it. The food is very good and different than anything else in town. The owner, who usually handles the hosting and serving, is friendly and helpful. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is fairly casual, which I like, but the food and its presentation is actually pretty fancy. I highly recommend El Chele if you’re looking for something a little different than what’s typically available in the region. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Ordered a Choripan with a Tamarindo to drink. Everything was delicious. The sandwich had a generous amount of melted cheese and the fries were surprisingly good.

Ordered take out via their website (Although they also have indoor & Outdoor dining!). The food was ready when I arrived and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The food itself was amazing and super flavorful. The portions are great as well. There’s lots of interesting dishes and their website even has photos of their actual dishes, which was really helpful in ordering if you’re like myself and not familiar with Salvadoran cuisine.

Exploring Moses Lake and stumbled upon a great little Salvadoran restaurant. Sat outside with our Dog. Great Place.

I didn’t eat here, but picked up someone’s order. Food smelled delicious, menu looked appetizing and was greeted by the owner who seemed like a fine man. Just had to say I will be sampling this food asap.
