Every time I’m in this corridor of I-95, I HAVE to stop here. Best tacos I’ve had since leaving the West Coast. The food is consistent every time. I’ve had many dishes here and every single thing is rich and flavorful. Portions are generous as well. In the photos are the Taco plate and shrimp fajita nachos.

I’ve been on a taco kick for a little bit here. Trying all the local areas. I ordered the exact same thing and I was given completely different tasting tacos. Some better than others. I say that to say this, they weren’t good or bad. Over stuffed with cilantro. Too much grease or oil.

The servings are very filling and the staff is super friendly! We stopped here to eat lunch while on a trip and the food did not disappoint. The horchata was super refreshing and the torta with chicken I ordered came with fries and was a pretty big portion, could be shared in my opinion.

Mind Blown! The food was GREAT. Huge portions and great prices. Beware of that hot sauce. When it says spicy, it’s no joke! I had the tacos carnitas. My bf had the spicy steak. He wiped the plate clean.

Your basic Mexican restaurant attached to a Motel. What’s not basic is the quality of the food. When I see Latinos eating with their families, I know I’m in the right place. I had a burrito and a taco salad. The taco salad didn’t get all wet and soupy like most places. The bowl was perfectly prepared and delicious. Even the salsa was great. They have a huge burrito that is a belly buster too.

Small place but very friendly staff and good food. I ordered the milanesa de pollo, the pico de gallo was spicy and delicious.

There’s a waitress there that will essentially steal from you. I’m not opposed to being charged gratuity whatsoever, but to hide it is essentially theft. When you dine at a restaurant it is at the discretion of the server whether or not they want to charge you gratuity. No problem, they bring you back the bill and you sign it like normal, and then you know that there’s no need to leave a tip or you can leave more if you wish. Well after bringing the bill for 53 something dollars, I gave her the card, and then she returned with the card but no receipt. She said that it wouldn’t print and she was sorry. I then told her just to bring me back the original bill then. Waited there for what seemed 15 to 20 minutes so I went up to the counter and stood there. I told her I was just going to leave a tip (way more than she charged me for gratuity btw) I handed her the 20 and told her I would wait for her to find the bill and then I saw the charge pop up on my phone and as I was pulling it up she handed me the receipt and I stood there in front of her comparing the charges which was 53 on the ticket and 65 something with American Express. So, I asked her oh so you already charged me for the tip. She denied it and said the register automatically does it. I worked in food service a long time ago and to my knowledge that isn’t a thing. A restaurant doesn’t just automatically charge you a tip every time you dine. And either way, if that is the case, that’s still a 1 star in my opinion. It’s a shame they do have good food because I won’t be returning and anyone who asks me about this business will be warned by me.

We stopped in on our way back from Raleigh. We were seated quickly and initial service was very quick. After getting our chips, it took a long time for our server to take our order, check in on us, get our dessert order, and get us the check. The food was very good and portion sizes were great for pricing. We will definitely be back!
