HONEY!!!!! This place is a 10/10 I DO RECOMMEND!!! When you first walk in it’s a VIBE! The aesthetic is everything!! It is so cute and clean. The staff is amazing they speak to you right as you come to the door. The choices are just enough to make you second guess which burrito you want so we left with 5! The flavor is everything it needs to be so good, so fresh and the homemade tortillas are to die for!! I had the chili verse, carnitas, and chipotle chicken. Sooo good my hubby and son loved it as well. I can’t wait to go back to try more of the meats!! So happy with my experience!!!

The express option was similar to the way Chipotle is set up, but that’s the end of any similarity. The rice and refried beans were so flavorful. Usually in the US Mexican style pink/red rice is soooo boring; not here, it was delicious. I had half chile verde and half barbacoa; both were outstanding. The barbacoa was perfectly cooked as the fat just melted across my tongue. The chile verde was just a bit spicy to me; others might have considered it too spicy, but the pork chunks were a perfect texture in a delicious and savory green chile sauce. I loved that they had cabbage as a topping along with 4 salsas and nonspicy pico de gallo. The servers were great, efficient and helpful. Not the best Mexican I’ve had, but for a little express takeout place it was in the top 30%. Would totally recommend you check this place out!

Surprisingly beautiful place, with nicer decor than I expected. Chipotle style. Burrito creation. Liberal amounts of burrito stuffing given by very friendly folks. Will return for dinner later. Tried the barbacoa, which was good and my wife liked the bean and cheese and rice burrito. Chips were good and fresh. Super reasonable prices.

Breakfast burrito was bland, though the tortilla was good. Coffee was so bad i had to dump it out. The bottom of my cup was full of grounds.

Food is delicious as usual I grew up in Salinas so I am familiar with Charrito’s delicious meals. However Monterey the service was really slow even with a full line the employee making burrito did seem to mind the line. If you are looking to grab a quick breakfast burrito this is not the place. Online ordering would be recommended.
