Coffee is superb! Best anywhere in Texas ,USA. I can say this with confidence. I have drank coffee all over the world, and this is some of the finest tasted. The wait staff at El Charrito is consistently friendly, prompt, and respectful. The food is consistently DELICIOUS! The only things on the menu that aren’t at 5-star level are the rice (kinda bland in my opinion) and the pancakes (dense in texture). My favorite thing about El Charrito is the selection of Central American cuisine that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I love the Baleda Especial

It’s was not to good. I would not go back. The waitress was nice however we ran out of drinks and chips . It had a weird smell and my food was cold. The restrant used to be called ” The Kettle” thus we thought it may still be a little hint of it in their somewhere. However we won’t be returning.

This was the worst food, portion sizes, and service I have ever received. My husband ordered the beef fajita and the portion for $16+ dollars was not enough to feed my 5 yr old. The tacos were average and were $2.25 + .25 if you wanted homemade. Next they begin cleaning @ 3:30 in the middle of our meal. The smell was strong and their close time was not till 8pm. Our waitress was cleaning and never came back to our table. Lastly the child’s plate were a joke. BEWARE DO NOT ORDER THE FAJITAS.MANGER STATED THEY CHARGE SO MUCH BECAUSE IT’S A BETTER QUALITY.

Our lunch was pretty good, the cheese enchiladas and tamales were nicely made. Our meals came with beans and rice; the refried beans were tasty, but the rice tasted like dish soap. Replacement rice that was freshly made was just fine.

Another good experience in Conroe. And this Restaurant is two minutes from church, on our route to Willis. Awesome food, super fast service, huge menu. Can either order off breakfast or lunch mdnus. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been in this restaurant a few times. I don’t think I’ll be going back. This place doesn’t serve enough food. I’ve only ordered breakfast tacos. These tacos are the smallest out of every other place I’ve been. The last time I was there I ordered three (3) tacos. They were so small I combined all three and make one normal size taco. I then went to La Palma and got more. El Charrito won’t get my business again.
