1st time coming here, the food was OK, which is disappointing because of how nice the presentation was. I think it was just lacking in flavor honestly, I got the chicken quesadillas which tasted kinda dry and plain, and I tried my friends flautas which although was a great portion size, were also kinda dry and very oily. HOWEVER, the Horchata was phenomenal, some of the best ive ever had, definitely reccomend! This place has a great atmosphere and the waiters were very nice. I might come back and give them a second chance and grab a margarita I’ve heard a lot about. Will update my review in the future if my feelings change!

Food lacks any flavor at all. Had the carnitas super burrito, and it was anything but super. As others have said the guy taking orders isn’t friendly. It had been a couple years since I had come here, and I will not be back. The burrito also made my stomach upset all day. Don’t understand all the good reviews of this place. There are much better burrito shops here in SF.

Got a super carnitas burrito with black beans and it was absolute fire. Rich and meaty, perfectly grilled, tight wrap, and solid fresh made tortilla chips on the side with some spicy pico and a horchata? No better place.

Another hidden gem in Castro/Church neighborhood . There are tons of taqueria in the city. However, this one has a very homie feel to it and serves unpretentious homemade Mexican food. You’ve gotta to try their nachos with beef, it’s delicious and the portion is huge! This place seems to be the locals’ favorite. As of May 2021, both dine in and take out are available. If you’re craving Mexican food in this neighborhood, you should give it a try!

It’s been 7 years since I’ve eaten a burrito here. It’s still good. Possibley the best burrito I’ve had. It deffinitly something in seasoning. The chips have it too. Come check it out. I feel it stands out from the rest. Excellent price and portion size. Cash only though.
