Good food, nice people. Service was a little slow as there was only one person out front. Biggest drawback to this restaurant is the availability of parking as you do have park on the street and feed the meter. Other than that good meal good prices.

We haven’t ordered from this restaurant since they moved from up town to by the underpass. I ordered fajitas and chicken cheese chips with everything on the side. They did an excellent job it was hot food, and everything tasted great!!! Thank you for doing an awesome job!! Gracias!! We will order again.

El Canelo has awesome food. We get takeout here once or twice a month. Very flavorful dishes and good service. I often get the shrimp fajitas which are wonderful.

I’ve eaten in their new restaurant, near Sheetz in Ellwood City, three times. The food is delicious and affordable. Staff is efficient and friendly. No complaints. Will be returning.

Been there once so far I’ve eaten much Mexican food and much South American cuisine and I really did not think their food was very good what I had anyway. I don’t know what kind of ground meat they use but it tastes like it’s reconstituted meat pellets or boiled beef there’s no real flavor to it it has no seasoning in it and it’s almost white in color. And traditionally enchiladas don’t use flour tortillas. I would give them another try but I really don’t expect much enchiladas don’t typically have a white sauce either.

Ordered their fried ice cream, not sure what this is but it’s not that. Has cereal flakes on it with sprinkles. No honey, no cinnamon, not anything. The ice cream itself is cheap and taste like ice. Very disappointed.

I eat here all the time. Steak taco’s are my favorite, but I also eat other things on the menu. Food has always been served fresh and hot. Dining room is clean bathrooms are sanitary. Service is outstanding. The people that own the place in Ellwood City and Shenango roll their sleeves up and work right along side the employees. It was difficult to tell who owned the place at first.
