My wife, brother, and I recently took a trip to El Camino in Fort Lauderdale, and our experience was a mixed bag of sensations. The place was packed to the brim, alive with a spirited crowd that added a sense of energy to the whole setting. While the atmosphere was enjoyable, the music was a tad on the louder side for our taste. But, we understand it’s part of the scene that defines El Camino.

My husband and I got the shrimp taco, crispy fish, mushroom, tinga, and barbacoa tacos. The sides were nothing to write home about but the tacos were all delicious. The salsa they make tasted so fresh, especially with their house made hot sauce. My husband got the smoked pineapple margarita and he enjoyed his drink. Service was prompt and staff were friendly. Definitely a great spot for good Mexican food.

Wow! First time here and we were impressed! The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing but what really made the difference is the service. The server was very nice and friendly but that wasn’t what impressed us the most was when there was a mixup in the order, the way everyone reacted from the manager to the server was really above and beyond. They all reacted quickly, offered to redo the order and offered us free one of the best deserts and drinks we had in a while. We took the guacamole, mango-strawberry margaritas, sangria, shrimp burritos, chicken burritos, tacos and enchiladas. The desert was some sort of nutella crème brûlée and a coconut cake. Good job you guys, you have us as fans now.

Such a great spot in Fort Lauderdale to come with friends, family, or your partner for a nice easy dinner night out. Great bar, great food, and great service. Thank you to our server who happily served us close to closing time. We were just happy to be seated for a late night quick dinner and drinks, and not sent elsewhere like some other restaurants we happened to walk into the same night at 11:30 PM on a Thursday evening. Thank you El Camino, we will be back.

We came only for drinks on a Friday night. This is THE BEST Watermelon Jalapeno Margarita I have ever tried in my life. It was so good, we had to go back there again on our last day, as I had to try it again! Well done El Camino bar team and Hope to come back for more.

Great dining experience. I had the tamales and they were delicious. It’s surrounded by galleries for you to explore after your meal.

Really enjoyed El Camino! We were sat very quickly and our server was knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered salsa, chips, and guacamole and were so surprised at the portions. You definitely get your moneys worth! I ordered a guava-habenero margarita and my partner got the pineapple-coconut—both were AMAZING! We then got tacos and the server was very careful about my partners dairy allergy. Everything we got was fantastic and we’ll definitely be going back again.

The reason this place is so busy is because the food is very good. Our server was also friendly. We loved the guac and our entrees. The blood orange margarita is very tart. The coconut one is very good. My smoked brisket burrito was amazing. I would definitely come back.

Nachos are incredible, stacked high with tons of layers. Brisket on top wasn’t super tender but the extra cheese more than made up for it. Shrimp fajitas were delicious, but prepare for spice.
