This place is a small Mexican lunch counter located inside an ExxonMobil gas station. They have a large menu posted above the kitchen and about six small tables. It’s not much to look at, but the food is spectacular. It’s all cooked fresh to order and very authentic. Prices are also excellent for the quality. Tacos are about $3 each and burritos around $9-10 depending on what you get. Awesome house salsas. You can buy whatever drinks you want from the gas station/convenience store side and bring them over. No alcohol is available. The guy who took our order seemed to also be the cook, and likely only employee so if things are busy expect a 10-20 minute wait for your food. Be aware, our guy didn’t speak much English.

Ordered an Annapolis burrito and taco salad here. I ordered the taco salad because that’s what I figured that delicious looking tortilla bowl was on their business page, and I called (twice, they didn’t answer the first) and they confirmed that on the phone. I placed an online order 45 minutes before arriving, and arrived 10 minutes after it should have been ready. When I approached the counter they said “closed” (it was 8:30 they are open until 10) and then I said I had an online order and they replied “not here” and argued with me over it. I showed them the receipt and they made a long phone call and then said it’ll be 15 minutes. I waited, got my food, no apology.

Second time time going to this place and the food taste real good, the flavors are the best Mexican food that I have taste around this area. Place is not so nice but you won’t regret it.

Delicious tacos. This is the real, authentic article. I know some people have been put off by the service, but it gets the job done with no frills. In many ways, El cabrito feels like they teleported a taqueria from Mexico to Maryland. The sounds, the smells, the food. It’s all good. Their chorizo is strongly spiced, authentic, and delicious. The presence of the attached Oxxo, oops, I mean the attached convenience store just adds to the ambiance. Check out the taco platter, a really good deal if you want to save some money. Good stuff. I’ve been back three times in three weeks already. Recommended.

Absolutely great authentic Mexican food. Our group had the tacos, fried fish and posole soup. Everything was delicious. More food than we could finish. Prices are unbeatable. We highly recommend this place.

Loved the corn soft shell tacos and especially shrimp ceviche. Good prices and service, more of a take out than dine in location.

Love this little joint. It reminds me of some of the best little taco shops in South Philly we used to visit. You order three tacos, they come with radishes, a griddled jalapeno to munch on. This little shop actually makes nice enchiladas verdes as well which is strangely hard to find around the DMV sometimes!
