Friendly service. I liked the empanadas, we tried the spinach and the beef and also Arroz con Leche, really good. No hot chocolate and the desert menu a little limited, but good and fresh food.

Stopped by for lunch even though finding a parking is spot is scarce. The service and aromas coming from the kitchen was both enticing and excellent. I ordered a beef taco plate and it was fantasic. The restaurant is small & cozy but the plated food has big flavors and big portions for the price, come on down and see for yourself, I’m pretty sure you will agree.

I have been eating here for years – first the good – excellent food – from the tacos to soup very good – the not so good – only one basket of chips and salsa then it’s charged as a side order- also parking is absolutely horrible- it’s worth trying for lunch but dinner is pricey for a small mom and pop restaurant

The food is very good. But the service is terrible! I spent upwards of $50.00 and was told they did not have a lime or salt for the 2 margaritas I ordered w.t.f. Also I asked for more salsa for my chips and was told only 1 per order and would have to buy a side if I wanted more! All this after a 10 dollar tip.

Had street tacos. The plus was their hand-made tortillas

The best place for Spanish food in Whittier. Been coming here since I was a little guy and this place never changes. The owner is still the same old stand up guy he has always been, the cook has in no way lost his touch, and the place is a humble as ever. The portions are well worth the price. I have taken people here that could burritos away like nothing but even they couldn’t finish there plate.

I live right next to this place and we eat here all the time. I really liked thier empanadas! It’s a small place, but they treat you well and you get some really good salsa and chips to start.
