This is a down home Mexican restaurant! The food is amazing and what they do with seafood is extraordinary. The crispy shrimp tacos are where it’s at! They have a great bar with too many tequilas to count! Gabby is an excellent bartender. Don’t forget to tip!

This is my regular Mexican food spot! Their rice is vegetarian (no chicken broth used). I love their chilaquiles with green sauce, the red sauce is pretty good too! Full bar so if you drink you can take advantage of that! Evenings and weekends are pretty busy. But they’re generally pretty quick to get order and drinks out. Thanks guys!

The food here is delicious! I have never had a bad meal here and have tried many items. The people here are very helpful and extremely busy but are pleasant none the less! I feel confident referring people here. I rated the atmosphere only 3 stars due to the drab decor and old rickety tables and chairs…they could use an upgrade. The bartenders here seem very unfriendly to me as woman who smiles at them in passing yet very friendly to the men in the place. I don’t like that since it’s the first impression upon entering. Maybe I need to belly up to the bar sometime and see if they are more friendly

Crispy fish tacos – so tender, so moist, so delicious. I can eat them all day. Don’t forget to stop at the salsa bar. Plenty of fresh salsas to please anyone’s taste. Fast, friendly service. Full bar. Plenty of space in the additional dining room. If you go in the evening, save room for the churro cart out front. Fresh, hot, delicious churros with a filling of your choice (caramel, vanilla, or strawberry). Yummy!!!

Food was full of grease no good there was shrimp poop in the shrimp for the shrimp tacos the salsa for the shrimp tacos was unpleasantly hot. Sad me and my husband would come here weekly come back after a few years because we had to move away and it’s no good. No bueno.

I have been looking for authentic taco and burrito for years.This restaurant has been rated #1 by Sacramento Bee many months ago but did not consider going. This day, I came and ordered the super burrito for $7.50 and $4.50 for a taco. It is like having your lunch and dinner combined. The food was delicious. They have separate room for families to eat. The environment is not good but the food is super great. You may not be able to find one like they have in Sacramento. They are #1 to me and Sac Bee was not wrong. You can never be wrong having your next meal with them. The staff are very friendly
