Wow disappointed, I don’t know if a different cook or I just got luck , I ordered a Cuban breaded steak with ham and cheese no sauce gives me heart burn with white rice n beans , I’m Cuban , food used to be great but this steak was dripping I’m grease , and can taste the oil had not been changed also steaks had that dark hard part when it’s been in fridge too long , I know I been a cook long enough too know , my girl got steak with shrimp and was also disappointed, the 6 croquetas were great tho , even tho it’s the ones I get at local Spanish supermarket same exact taste because I buy the box at my house.

Grew up in south Florida and am addicted to Latin food. I’ve been to most of the Latin restaurants in the area and all have their personalities. El Bohio is no exception. Situated on a railroad track in a transient area and offering only outdoor seating doesn’t make logical sense but somehow it works here. The food is delicious, damn delicious, but prices are a little on the high side for the location and ambiance of the restaurant – especially for dinner. Definitely worth a visit though. Very friendly staff and excellent Cuban coffee. Happy people work here!

I was a local here back in 2005. Tasted again on 2023. The food is real good. The fried chicken was a bit undercooked but I don’t send food back. The white rice, which I don’t eat any where else but at home. In this restaurant is excellent. The red beans were delicious and the service was on point.

We happened on this spot ! It was so good! We met the chef, the service was incredible and the price point was sweet!! The food was incredible I recommend this Cuban restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy amazing Cuban food!! Can’t wait yo go back ! 10 out of 10!

Really bad culinary dinning experience. The food was disappointing. “You don’t put MOJO on cooked food, you know the kind that is like a dressing. I ordered fried pork pieces it was drowned with MOJO. MOJO is to marinate before cooking. No onions. Nasty. The cuban sandwich was not toasted properly. It was cold. I’m cuban and this degrades the cuban foods. This establishment is in a great location. Old world cuban style. But lack luster the menu. Avoid this place. Horrible.

I live in Port Saint Lucie, FL. I go south often. In doing so, this is the place to eat!!! Perfect steak sandwich every time. The cappuccino is to die for delicious. The restaurant has a feel of being in Cuba or at least what I would imagine it to be. Nice little place to eat!!! Definitely recommend. The ladies there are very polite and attentive.

1st time customer, while I haven’t had a lot of Cuban food, what I have had(at other places) was very good. That being said, this experience was not very good, I ordered a Cuban Sandwich, the shredded pork was VERY dry and not much flavor also ordered a beef empanada, the amount of grease that poured out of the paper bag that it was in was so much that it was all over the Cuban Sandwich paper,which I think in hindsight made the bread of the Cuban soggy,the empanada was ok,seemed very salty, and I like salt. One and done for me.
