No need to give it less than 5 stars. It was our first time there. The food was good but not outstanding but that might get better after I go back a few times and figure out what I like best. It was a nice place downtown. It wasn’t crowded. I’ve heard others comment that it was a little expensive. Maybe so but not much. We will probably go back soon.

The food we had was excellent except the beans needed seasoning. The service was very good. We were at the restaurant when it was very slow. It’s is a hidden little spot but it is worth it. I would definitely recommend.

We go here at least once a week! Best Mexican food around. Very simple menu, never have had anything bad. Service has always been great and are treated like family, not just a customer. Atmosphere is down to earth. Only complaint is they’re not open on Sundays, if so definitely would be our go-to lunch spot after church. But we’re glad they take time off for family.

Loved it when they opened, loving it more now that they can serve alcohol. Small town Thursday night and it’s busy because it’s good. Menu has all the goodies without getting lost in it. I will keep coming as long as they stay open. And Of course the margaritas are amazing.

The food was delicious! I had three kinds of street tacos and they were so good, especially the carnitas. Everything was pretty inexpensive and my kids loved the soft tacos. The dessert sounded amazing but we were too full! My husband had the torta (sandwich) and really enjoyed it, said it was the best he had ever had!

Literally the nicest family and is the best Mexican food in North Carolina! The chicken soup broth and everything about it was flavorful, street tacos are fantastic with homemade corn tortillas, guacamole hits out of the park! Wonderful beans, I can keep going!!!!! We’re from San Diego and have had a really hard time finding delicious Mexican food. Look no further!
