I absolutely love the food! I go there 3-5 times a week. The chips are always fresh and last for days. The pricing is amazing for nowadays. It’s cheaper than McDonald’s and the quality is home made. I definitely recommend this place. They are also very welcoming. I hope you guys enjoy the food as much as I do.

It’s great when you find a gem where not only is the food awesome, the service and staff are too. Everything I ordered taste sooo great and was very plentiful!!! I only wish it was closer to home, but it is well worth the drive, and I will be returning here often! Thee best Mexican food around!! A neighborhood Mexican food place, nothing special decor-wise, the food is good, freshly cooked. Nothing special, their refried beans are exceptional. Expect a wait, not because they’re busy but because everything is freshly cooked. Their salsa is (take the paint off your car) hot. I rated it a 4 because on this side of the lake they’re pretty much the only game in town. We need more choices. More restaurants, a grocery market and a Starbucks would be nice. But hey, we got a Dollar General… sigh.

Beware this place is very unhygienic and the food was horrible. I honestly feel bad because the owner seem like a nice guy but no one deserves to eat any food that comes out of there! No cleaning processes were following and i watched sanitation policy be broken by every employee. They don’t wash their hand between cleaning and serving its horrible!

This place has excellent food, tons of options, the flavors taste amazing, and the people who own and operate this restaurant are world class! I highly highly recommend eating here, especially if you are coming off Ortega Highway or about to hop on it! Or if you are in the area and looking for a new restaurant to try. Definitely stop by here to eat, trust me you will be glad you did! This place is a must try! Highly recommend! 5 stars all the way!

Ordered a bunch of different things, nothing was short of mind-blowing. Birria quesadilla is a must. Great crunchy chips and salsa full of flavor too.

El Agave is THE Hidden gem of Lake Elsinore! I stopped in for a couple tacos before hitting the road and they were so Fantastic I am currently ordering 6 more!! I have had the pleasure to dine in at some of the finest Mexican restaurants in California, Mexico, Columbia and Brazil. However, this little restaurant has masterfully crafted a perfect blend of flavor and textures! The chips and salsa(s) are made in-house and are wonderful, the Carne Asada is amazing, the Birria is killer and their pastor is a work of art
