He fights for me
Usually it’s all good including the service. The chips were cold and old. I asked for fresh chips and this bothered the waitress in so she took the basket to the counter asking but telling the gentleman at the counter “you made these this morning, right?” It was 10:30am. She brought out a second batch which was definitely made in the morning. Our meal arrived and the rice was not fully cooked. It was hard and chewy. Just a bad experience and money spent on a meal that was not eaten.

Authentic Mexican food, friendly atmosphere great service. Parking in the rear. Be sure to get the fresh homemade corn tortillas. They’re the best. And the cantaloupe flavored water is really good. If you love Mexican food you must go here.

No customer service , when you eat there took 5 server walk on the side 4 times never ask if we need anything .I took home food and they didn’t put the delicious chips , should I leave home spend money and time to get them , my friends food is going to be cold by the time I get the chips . Delicious food no great service

My In laws coming for years and they stopped coming recently also. So this was my second time here, as out of town family members suggested this. It just is bland and sad food, I know it’s been a staple for the SF folks, but some guys wouldn’t finish they’re Chili Relleno plate. I did have the Mole which was tasty, but salsa was sub standard.

Went here for brunch party of 7 ….on 6/4/2023 service was horrible! Got our orders all wrong! They refused to make asada tacos since they were out of shredded beef. They served only taquitos instead of dinner plate. The chips were stale. Soda machine was broken. Never again!! Avoid this place. Spend your money elsewhere.!! Very dissatisfied/ disappointed customer.

Nice experience at El Abuelo. We had the menudo and chilaquiles. First place I’ve come across that makes them like my mom did.. I think i was crying while eating them.

Such a homey and quaint little place. The customer service was great. Honestly such great waiters. I also loved the sayings in the back of the employees t-shirts. Unfortunately, the food did not match the quality of its employees. I ordered the potato tacos and they tasted like old grease. The potato was so bland I had to pour a ton of salsa over the tacos to mask the old grease flavor and give the potatoes some flavor as well. The beans tasted and smelled like eggs. The rice was a bit undercooked. I wanted to like this place I really did but the food just wasn’t good.
