We stumbled across Eight Top Grill in search for dinner close to home and are glad we did!! Our server, at the bar, was awesome and made sure we knew about their daily specials and days they have live music. My husband noticed that they don’t have beer and tap…but it’s coming soon. And I had a Mangocreamcicle that was perfect!!

This was a rare and exciting find not far from HVL. Great setting, we were impressed to find such great food – Cajun grouper w cheddar grits, coconut breaded shrimp & cod. Even the fries were delicious, and the chips & dip trio as a starter was perfect. Next time, we’ll try the local steaks. Service was on it, even with a giant party that night. Great atmosphere. And we got to move to the patio and enjoy the band on a beautiful night. Our first time couldn’t have been better!

Great Place! We saw a youth baseball team with “Eight Top” uniforms. We searched it and stopped in for a quick dinner after a baseball game nearby at the school. Staff was great and food was excellent. Live music on a Wednesday night was an added bonus! We didn’t realize the old golf course was now a restaurant. I had the chicken bacon flatbread pizza and it was great. Fish sandwich and burgers were also excellent per the family. Relaxed and watched the Reds game on the TV’s. Looking forward to more live music, food and drinks there in the future!

Great burgers! Done but not over cooked. Willing to make changes to match your taste for the day. I had a great mushroom American cheese burger and shared potatoes rags w a friend. Recommend both!

3 people in our party had chicken bacon ranch flat bread but did not eat the majority of it because the chicken was rubbery. One had the fish and chips. She said the fish was very greasy and the oil was old and coleslaw was bland. One had chicken fingers and said they were overdone or the oil was old. Atmosphere wasn’t bad they had live music and waitress was very nice. One had a fish sandwich but said the bread was hard and coleslaw was bland. Also, they weren’t very familiar with dietary restriction menu items.

Kind of a weird location for a restaurant but trust Google directions. The food was outstanding! I had the grouper with cheddar grits and a Huge Bravarian pretzel. I was just passing through and found this place on Google. The place is freshly renovated inside with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend

Our food was good and bad. Our fish was really good. But my husband’s burger was really dry. Could have been a one off. My son’s chicken was great and their fries were delicious. We would eat there again.

It’s alright – you can tell what the place wants to be/what it’s working towards being, but just isn’t quite there yet. The food is fine, just overpriced for what it is. Plastic cups, and tables/plates are too cheap for the price of the food on them.

Called and asked if kids were welcome and was told yes. They close at 10 pm according to the Google. Drove the short 3 minutes to get there and arrived at 8:49 pm where the lights were then shut off right after we pulled in and the doors were locked. Fantastic first experience.

Our first time here. Nice atmosphere. Our server was nice. We had the lenten cod basket, and it was very good. We will be back. Glad to have a local restaurant so close.
