What a great breakfast! We enjoyed the Chicken & Waffles – the spicy honey sauce is to die for – and the Crab Cake Benedict. The fruit was fresh and the home fries were pure comfort. Best of all, the cold brew was clean and crisp. Our meal was great as it was, but the cherry on top was the impeccable service from our server, Alex. He was attentive, helpful, and fun. We will be back!!

Me and my adopted sister went into eggs up grill for breakfast today. the food was amazing, could not have been any better. the best part about my meal was the service, our server was Virginia, she did a spectacular job. she never let our drinks run empty, she also had an amazing attitude.

I and five others in our party visited Eggs Up Grill in Southport today, about 12:30pm. A very good experience for us. We were met by a hostess named Dee that took care of us very well and was very good at communicating at our wait time for a table as there were six of us. We really appreciated her and want management there, as well as ownership, to know and recognize what a great individual they have working for them and looking out for their interests. We will look for her again when we go there and her helpful ways. And Michael was great, too, the gentleman that waited on us.

Brandon was our server and he was EGG-cellent. On a busy Sunday afternoon he was very informative of wait times and prompt with refills and food. We overheard a few rude tables around us and he was consistent with his great attitude despite the other rude customers. The food was wonderful! Loved the chicken and waffles. Also had blueberry muffins which were very yummy.

Ordered the eggs Benedict with home fries. Eggs came out perfect and the English muffin was soft which I appreciated. (you know what I’m talking about… some places the eggs seem like they’re sitting on a piece of cardboard. Such was not the case here.) Home fries was lightly seasoned and very tasty. The coffee was good but just average – don’t expect gourmet coffee. They did offer mimosas if you preferred. I will try a mimosa and their chicken and waffles next time.

The Caramel Apple Crisp Pancakes were AMAZING! Our table of 5 was 100% satisfied with everything we ordered. My daughter cleared her plate and that’s pretty rare! We did have a small wait on Saturday morning but after tasting the food, it’s understandable why this place was so busy. It was well worth the wait. We still got great service and the food was out quick but still fresh. Jennifer was a great server too! We will be back.
