Great local diner-style place right on Waikiki beach. Very friendly and attentive staff, reasonably priced and delicious food, great cold brew coffee, however…. COME EARLY (before 07:00), or else face a long wait. They have an electronic sign-in sheet which works well. The food portions are generous, if not very large. We went there several times!!! Never needed lunch, until late afternoon. Definitely try variations of eggs and SPAM! 🙂

Be warned, this place has long wait times around 8-9am but it’s worth it. The food was absolutely delicious! The service is also fast and friendly. It has a great view of the ocean and its close to many stores. We put our name on the waitlist and went to do some shopping while we waited, which was about 1 hr. It is a small restaurant and close to all the hotels, so I assume that’s why it gets packed, everyone wants to go here. We got the island fried rice, loco moco, rainbow pancakes and the kids waffle. If you have a stroller or wheelchair there is a small area to put it unless someone else is already occupying the space. There are 2 bathrooms in the back but only 1 was working at the time. We were a party of 8, I told the hostess and she put us in 2 tables, which were next to each other.

Good spot with lots of choices. There was a line so I decided to just order online and pick up. I waited about 20-25 minutes. I do wish it was a little cheaper since I just got the basics eggs, turkey bacon, & potatoes but I understand it’s all about location . It was tasty and filling though. Potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, bacon wasn’t over cooked. I just ate across the street on the wall on Waikiki beach looking out at the water.

The rainbow pancakes are delicious! Ask the staff to get you some coconut syrup, you won’t regret it. The pancakes are really fluffy and the combination of the fruits with the whipped cream make for a very tasty meal.

Small place but great food. When we went for breakfast before 7am they sat us right away. When we went around 10am we waited about 45 minutes but well worth the wait. Loved the food and service. Very quaint place.

this place is great! I had the Portuguese sausage and eggs with buttermilk pancakes and a passion fruit drink. there’s a long wait to get seated so it’s best to get on the waiting list online and then arrive accordingly. the food was worth the wait and I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a good breakfast!

PRO TIP: Come as early as possible. It’s a very popular spot because of the great food and location. We arrived at around 7AM to wait approx. 30 minutes. at 7:30, the wait was about an hour. Second thing: If they ask you if you want to sit at the counter, that means sitting to a wall. Not as appealing when you want the open restaraunt view.
