Since the sunny, colorful, carefree days of the early 1970s, eegees has been serving handcrafted sub sandwiches and its now-famous frozen fruit drink, the eegee, in Southern Arizona. In September 1971, the founders pooled their resources to purchase a vending truck and began serving a frozen lemon drink at high schools, sporting events, and concerts in town. The drink was called an eegee. Eventually, the vending trucks were retired as they turned their business into a growing quick-service restaurant chain.
Today, there are 25+ eegees locations in the greater Tucson area, as well as one in neighboring town Casa Grande. The restaurant has also grown its menu and now offers salads, french fries, and signature ranch dressings.
Casual chain serving frozen fruit drinks along with submarine sandwiches, fries & salads. Based on 84 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 3.4 stars. Price $

We had placed an online order 1 hour ahead!!! Once arriving there was a long line and angry customers. I had told the cashier that I was here to pick up an online order and he directed me to another window where I could pick up my food. At the window there were at least 5 other people waiting for there orders. I waited for 30 minutes and witnessed three different complaints. After Receiving My Food I left and realized half of it was missing. We returned to get the rest of our food, and wasn’t even offered our food. They were very rude and unprofessional. We asked for a refund when the manager returned with the refund receipt, she gave us a snotty look and threw our food away pettly. Manger did not make our food.

Their sandwiches and fruit drinks are the best on the menu. This place has definitely got more healthier options on the menu than most other fast food places. The workers are usually friendly here and are good at making your order as fast as possible.

They need to be waaaay faster. This type of food shouldn’t take so long. Wasting my time and that of the customers when door dashing. In the time that I wait here for orders I could’ve picked up another and made money. I honestly will start declining pick ups here.
Welcoming Motherhood
I wish I caught her name but she gave me tremendous service. My toddler had a fit inside. And she was kind to us and brought our food out to the car. Way to help a mom out. It was around 10:06 7/09.

Pathetic excuse for a salad. Don’t use such a big container unless you are going to actually fill it. I guess it’s good I wasn’t that hungry. First time to any Eegee’s, last time.

Grew up eating Eegees for over 20 years. Moved away 7 years ago to do my PhD, but I come back infrequently to visit my mom in Green Valley. When I saw them build one here, like others, I was very excited.

It’s gonna be great whenever it opens.

Kayla displayed excellent customer service skills. She was understanding and kind. Though, the girl filling the containers had an attitude. You could hear and see her complaining. That affected the atmosphere.

Today waited 20 minutes for one meatball sub. Given the excuse that they “had to cook the meatballs” get home to find the sub is practically cold, not even the cheese is slightly melted. Garbage service

The water here is actually really good. I expected it to taste like tap-water but it did not. Excellent sandwich, excellent water
