Edwards steakhouse is amazing! I had the dry aged porterhouse and it was definitely one of the greatest steaks I’ve had. My wife had the filet and absolutely loved it. The sides we chose were mac and cheese and broccoli which were both great. For apps we chose the calamari and bacon. Calamari was pretty average compared to other restaurants. The bacon was a bit too fatty for our liking. The service was top tier accompanied by a relaxed, dark, atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I couldn’t decide on a steakhouse to go to in Jersey City. I turned to Reddit and everyone highly suggested to go to Edwards. We booked our dinner easily. Here is our experience:

Went here for our anniversary dinner on. Wednesday night. Service is top notch, food is excellent, romantic atmosphere. Don’t be overwhelmed on the busy, noisy bar area, their dining area is cozy, laid back and old school looking in a good way. Servers are very nice and attentive. Would definitely come back because of our good experience.

I like the fact that Jersey City has this amazing local steakhouse. We had Tomahawk steak and sides. The steak was perfectly medium rare and tasted great. Wished the broccoli portion was a little bigger, as a broccoli lover. Corkage is $25 per bottle. The service was fantastic. The ambiance is perfect. Lastly, do not forget to take a bite of the meat off the bone. Can’t wait to return.

So this was a graduation dinner, and I’ll tell you this it was the best graduation I ever had. The place very nice, clean elegant. The staff was great. Oh let me get in to the food, now the food was amazing, not only did it come out looking all nice a pretty, it was delicious. It’s a steakhouse but they also have a variety of sea food as well. The food is worth the price.

Service and staff were very friendly and attentive but this was one of the worst steaks I’ve ever paid for. It was inedible. Wine list was elementary. This town needs a good steakhouse – please, Edwards, take this as an opportunity for improvement. I’d love to go back but at this point I’m better off slapping a Darke Pines cut on a George Foreman grill in my apartment.

The bone marrow was decent. The tomahawk steak was burnt on the outside. The service was non-existent. If you didn’t get your bread, ask. If they seated you right next to the kitchen, congrats, you can start worrying about servers spilling food on you. And the best part, they wrote a big 20% tip on our bill.

The feeling you get when dining there is a of a cozy home atmosphere. The taste of the food was very flavorful and bold. The only thing missing was a small bread plate prior to the appetizers and main meal beside that everything was great. The service was friendly and helpful. Great steakhouse to visit.

Great steakhouse in Jersey City! It was my first time there and will definitely be back. The Porterhouse steak and Veal Chop were fantastic as well as the Tiramisu and Blood Orange Margarita. The atmosphere was relaxing and servers were very attentive.
