I stopped in to Edna’s recently. The food was good and my service was nice. The bartender assisted with figuring out which item I should try with good descriptions. She was very helpful and friendly. I ended up getting the Brisket Sandwich and a side of Flash Fried Brussels Sprouts. The Sprouts had excellent flavor. My reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because the Brussels were too greasy. Towards the end there was so much oil at the bottom of my plate that it leaked on the table so I couldn’t finished. Also I felt like the Brisket flavor and tenderness was outstanding but just a little small, it definitely didn’t look like the picture (full and over flowing on both side with meat ). But I would stop in again and try the Brisket burger that sound good.

Stopped here after visiting Fort Delaware State Park today. Got the pulled pork sandwich which was delicious! The meat had good flavor, was plentiful on the bun,, and there was multiple tasty sauces you could add. Sat outside at their picnic tables out back which was nice with the weather.

Awesome food. I had the Potato Bomb and the Poutine Fries. The Bomb is two potato skins with two hamburger sliders. Great flavor, you may need to use a fork. The fries were excellent too. Cheese curds sound gross but they are delicious! I had this type of fry before and these did not disappoint!

Edna’s BBQ is so good it makes you wanna slap your momma! Lol. I just tried this gem for the first time after seeing it every time I come to Delaware City on Sunday’s, but they are closed on Sunday’s, so I never got a chance to try it until today. Holy Smokes! I got the brisket sandwich and added some coleslaw on top and got my wife a pit ham sandwich. Everything was phenomenal! Wish I could’ve met Edna to compliment her! If you’re reading this Edna your BBQ is so good and I will definitely be back, thank you!

Really great local place! My dad and I shared some Parmesan Garlic and Old Bay wings; the parmesan garlic was far better than buffalo wild wings and the Old Bay while a little salty was a great dry rub. The brisket burger was made complete with the best brisket I ever had, tender, moist, and never chewy. Fries were great too. Can’t wait to go back!

We just happened by last night, on what I believe was the fifth night of operation. A beautiful space with a lot of potential, especially if beer and wine are added, which I believe is the plan. I rarely order “crazy burgers” – the burger itself is usually enough for me – but I went with the Brisket Burger, a burger crowned with brisket and fried onion. It was simply delicious. My wife enjoyed her order as well. Good luck to this new place in Delaware City!
