Super friendly when we walked in. We had a large order, and they got right on it. This has the feel of an old school deli.

Mike and his staff are so sweet. I had a catering order that was quite large. I talked with his staff they explained everything I needed to know and broke down how the food was going to ve presented. Mike called me to confirm the order, he was professional and sweet we had a great conversation. We kept in touch regularly to coordinate the order, I even had to place an extra tray the day before the party and they were then accommodating. Every piece was cut, labeled and wrapped individually making it so easy to choose. I was blown away, even with the condiments – a whole bottle of hellmans mayonnaise, two entire squeeze bottles one oil one vinegar, all the plates and napkins and a half tray of tomatoes (I asked for them on the side and they were beautifully sliced) The presentation was exquisite. Mike even called after my event to check in, so much hospitality. I really felt cared about and my guests as well. I’m so grateful to have worked with them, I highly highly recommend them for catering. Not to mention anything you purchase from here is top notch.

I was pleasantly surprised. The bread was so fresh. Love that they slice their cold cuts for every sandwich. Healthy portion sandwiches. Beats Tastee Sub hands down! The deli guy wasn’t rushing to get you out. He was polite and held small but pleasant conversation. Prices were the cherry on top. It’s definitely my new go-to spot.

I live down south, and can’t find a subthe way I like, I was in Edison delivering a load, the sub is really good, and the service was just as good if not better, I put this place in my GPS, so I will be able to find it again, I will be back

Best sub around for sure. Great bread. Great meat. Crafted with topping well. Pricing can’t be beat. I’ll be a regular every Monday.

The owner is so polite and kind. I walked in there one early morning to get breakfast and this tall man greeted me with a smile and hello told him what I needed and he made it for me with a smile. If you haven’t tried the food please go try it.

Been eating here since we moved into the neighborhood in 1978. The original owner Don passed away several years ago and the present owner Mike kept the original style and menu for the most part. The staff is extremely friendly, it’s not just a hello and goodbye, they’re genuinely interested in the customers. The sandwich’s are all very good, my favorite is the Dr. Don Special.

Best sub shop in Edison, I don’t think so! I have driven by this location so many times and decided to stop for lunch, since the signs on the windows says voted best sub shop in Edison. 1st time visiting this location and food was okay, very disappointed. had a turkey and provolone on wheat roll. The roll makes the sandwich and the bread wasn’t fresh at all, more than a couple days old. Very dry for wheat bread, other than that cold cuts, lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. Staff was friendly, but food was sub-par.
