Eckart’s was a cute luncheonette I have never been to. The food was pretty good. It was a bit difficult for me to order as I am gluten free. I feel like some of the prices are way too high. The milkshake is 8 dollars…I could purchase two half gallons of ice cream for that price of a single serve shake. The side of coleslaw was the size of a condiment cup… It was delicious, but it was hardly anything to be considered a side. The staff was nice, but could have been a touch more attentive. The decor was old timey and nice to look at. Overall I was a little underwhelmed, but it may have to do with my dietary restrictions.

I’ve been going to Eckarts since I was 5 years old, as my parents and grandparents. Theyve kept many of the old touches in the building right down to the root beer barrel I remember as a child. The Eckarts are lovely people, and ingrained in the community. Tried and true menu, but not afraid to add new things. Comfortable, non pretentious. Love it !! The only place I go to in WHB.

If I could go lower I would. Horrible experience! They didn’t get my order correct and would not make it right. I had to pay for something I didn’t eat. I was offered a bagel in its place. Negative stars from me. Horrible experience! Over Priced, Slow Service,Cash only to hide income taxes which speaks for the owners Integrity, that they obviously don’t care about their customers satisfaction
