We had an incredible dinner here. Atmosphere is beautiful. Piano player in the bar was great, excellent cocktails at the bar. Our dinner on the front porch was amazing. Our waiter Nick went above and beyond, providing incredible service. Food was amazing from first course to dessert. The deviled eggs are to die for, definitely a must. Best dinner/service experience we’ve had in ages! 10/10

The atmosphere is gorgeous. There is a live baby-grand piano performance which is very delightful. Staff are highly trained, attentive and knowledgeable. Each dish had a unique presentation, from formal to creative. Wine selection was on par with other fine dinning experiences in the area. This place is a must for anyone who wants to experience Cape May’s finest dinning.

I’ve been coming to the Ebbiit room for over 10 years now. Tonight I had the best meal ever. Service was amazing April was our server. Andy immediately saw me when I arrived and recognized me I was happy to hear he was now the food and beverage manager I feel that the service the seating and overall experience is definitely improved since his promotion.

A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. Everything was wonderful and our server Kate was exceptional. She knew the menu inside & out and was very personable and friendly. The food was absolutely incredible – we had the cheese board, oysters, filet, and the wagyu special. Cocktails were also original and delicious. Kudos to the chef!

My fiancé and I have started the tradition of vacationing to Cape May. This is our second year and we will continue to make sure The Ebbitt Room is one of our stops… if not multiple times throughout the trip. The food, drinks, and service never disappoint. We dined two times during our 4 night stay and were lucky enough to have Andy as our server both times. He was knowledgeable about everything from food and drinks to the best spots to sit on the porch. My fiancé ordered the Japanese Waygu special and wasn’t sure what wine to pair with it. Without hesitation, Andy found him the perfect glass. I also have some dietary restrictions and Andy made sure I was able to eat what I wanted to order. I 100% recommend the Ebbitt Room and 120% recommend asking for Andy. On top of it all, it was really nice to see the Executive Chef step out onto the porch while dinner was taking place. If you are heading to Cape May you MUST reserve The Ebbitt Room!

Forgot to take a photo until we were halfway through our meals, hence this hacked up chicken. But let it be a testament to how fantastic our food was. Great experience from start to finish. Porch is drafty so bring a jacket if you’re dining in the cooler months, but the atmosphere was spectacular.

Exceptional dining experience from start to finish! We arrived early and enjoyed a cheeseboard & cocktail in the cozy room on the right with the fireplace. The service was excellent. We then moved to the porch for dinner. It was chilly, but no worries. They sat us under a heater & immediately offered blankets. I’ll dine Al Fresco year-round with this kind of service. Water glasses were frequently refilled & we could hear the piano playing inside. We ordered the deviled eggs for an appetizer (delish) & Filet Mignon + Beef Cheeks for our entrees. The suggested red Cab was a perfect pairing. Ricotta donuts for dessert? Yes please. Ebbitt Room is one of the best restaurants in Cape May.

I don’t usually give a 5 but this restaurant hit all the marks. Great service, delicious food, and beautiful atmosphere Started with cocktails at the bar. Great selection and wonderful bartender, talented and friendly, a perfect combo. The photo of the risotto with Uni (a special) was too fuzzy to post but it was spectacular.

Top notch atmosphere to dine. The piano man will play you a nice song while you indulge in a variety of pristine entree selections. Desserts are a real treat because they are all made in house. You can cap that all off with a premium fresh cup of hot brown. Excellent overall experience.
