Service was a bit abrupt. Waitress followed us to our table and asked for our drink order before we sat down. We’d never been there so we had no idea what they had. We both ordered a whiskey burger. I got waffle fries, and my partner got garlic parmesan fries. We were a disappointed with the garlic parm fries as we didn’t know it was just a sauce on the fries. We were expecting a dry seasoning. The burger was okay. The bottom bun was too soggy and there wasn’t much of a taste in terms of the whiskey sauce. It was basically a bacon cheeseburger. Waffle fries were good though.

Came here for lunch today and had the beer battered fish fry. This was hands down THE BEST fish fry my husband and I’ve had. We’ve been to a lot of different establishments for Friday fish fry and The Ale House is the best. He also ordered the mushroom swiss burger which he said was one of the best he’s had. I would highly recommend coming here! Great service and atmosphere too.

We dropped in for the beer selection, which was excellent, and stayed for a bite…

Okay so we specifically went there for their prime rib because we had heard it was the knee’s…. unfortunately they had some sort of kerfuffle no prime rib….THEN we were like we’re here were hungry let’s give this place a try…..THE FOOD IS TO DIE FOR!!! I Had the mushroom swiss burger and cheesey garlic fries along with a lovey beer off there awesome tap menu with pretzel bun by the way. They’re also old school and ask you how you want your burger done! My husband had the build your own burger with waffle fries we had a cheese curds from the appetizer menu. We definitely will be back! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff makes it this way! Clean cute bathrooms! Cannot say enough good things!! Thank y’all so much for EVERYTHING!

They used to know how to cook prime rib here, now not so much. Tough, no flavor even though ordered rare-med rare. Service was minimal, even though they weren’t busy. Asked for butter for my potato and was handed two tiny pats of butter.

Had fish. Was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. The fries were good aside of all the salt on them. Not much more to say.

Was not very impressed, looked and felt like a towny college bar and that’s how the patrons acted. Went for happy hour, which there weren’t many options, only a few of the appetizers were discounted and those weren’t even listed on the menu, you had to ask the waitress which ones. The beer menu was on a board on the wall, but if you couldn’t see it you could scan a QR code off of their menu. They have Wi-Fi, but when I asked my server for the password, she didn’t know it and never went to find out what it was. Ended up getting a tap of beer, which was good and cold, ordered the cheese curds and the fried green beans, not too bad, but nothing impressed me enough that I would want to return.
