If you have never been to Horrocks, it is a must visit while in Lancing!! They have everything you could ever need, but the best part is when It gets warm, and the beer garden opens.

This place is my go to when I am craving some pad thai. The tofu is always seared perfectly and I love how it soaks up all the flavor. I’m pretty sensitive to heat, but a level 1 spice is tolerable. Staff is always friendly and I have yet to be disappointed by the food ☺️

I *LOVE* the Eato Chef food truck. The Pad Thai is absolutely perfectly balanced. I really like spicy food, but the #3 spice level (I think it goes from 0-10) is almost too hot for me. I always order with tofu, but my friend gets shrimp, and we always get egg rolls.

Currently at Horrocks. Quick. As the orders can come. If you wait it’s because you were late.

It’s been a while since I posted a restaurant/food review. However, my recent experience with the staff and owners at Chef Eato are worthy of mention. My wife and I have visited the Chef Eato food trailer located at Horrock’s multiple times and the service and food have always been exceptional. However, on our last visit (close to closing time) we ordered two orders of Pad Thai with both shrimp and chicken, but this time only one of the orders had the requested shrimp and chicken and the other order only had chicken. We discovered this when we got home. I wasn’t upset, and the food was still delicious. I understand that mistakes happen, and with the volume of orders they probably fill on a daily basis everything isn’t always going to be perfect 100% of the time. and I only called them to let them know what happened. I had the good fortune of talking to one of the owners and I explained my situation. Let me say, he was so professional, accommodating, and kind! This gentleman went above and beyond regarding making things right. I was a happy and satisfied customer before, but now I wholeheartedly respect the crew at Eato Chef. If haven’t visited this amazing food trailer I highly recommend that you do!

It’s my favorite Thai food,( I had the shrimp pad thai.) Horrocks has a fountain pond surrounded with picnic tables, a nice place to enjoy lunch.

I’d recommend eato chef food truck to anyone and every one. The pad Thai is so good, spicy and big portions. I had the chicken pad Thai level 3 and it was perfect and fast coming out. Everyone there seems to really enjoy their jobs which is very refreshing. Shout out to the lady working the front window who came out with a whole pack of popsicles and let me three kids pick their flavors. Something small, but really made their day. Very friendly.

Took my friends and family to dinner, and they all agreed that Eato Chef has the best Pad-Thai ever! Their mango sticky rice is worth all the calories…delicious!

Both the chicken and tofu pad thai were really good. Very fresh and the flavors were great. Glad I went with a 2 spice level, though 3 or 4 would likely be good as well.
