For the adventurous. A no frills, just good food within a food mart/ liquor store. We took a street car straight to this spot which added to the experience. Ordered a Shrimp PoBoy, Combo Yakamein and eggrolls. All were delicious and would highly recommend!

I chose this establishment because I wanted to experience a authentic Vietnamese flavor. I have a cold so I wanted all the herbs they are known to use such as ginger, mints, real beef broth etc. Well I was very disappointed the flavor was not a distinct flavor instead it was watered down chicken broth, it had less flavor than Roman noodles . As well my Vietnamese so called

Bring cash, there is a 3.5 surcharge for using cards. The yakamein was very good! The food is good there, prices are a bit high but not as high as in the French Quarter. The staff is friendly. It’s a hole in the wall that I think Anthony Bourdain would have tried.

The bo hue broth is absolutely phenomenal. Sour, hot, spicy, and clear. Doesn’t even need anything added.

The food was great. We had the Veggie Patty Po Boy, Tofu Bahn Mi, and theTurkey Po Boy. The bread was fresh. The staff was nice. The store and area was not. The container with the shredded carrots had tongs at the very bottom. Either they reach down in the container to grab your carrots out each time or… they dropped them and just left them in there. Either way… it’s gross. We won’t be back.

Needed to get my yakamein fix. This place did not disappoint. Several interesting Asian items on the menu and in the store, including different beverages in the drinks cooler.

The food here won’t disappoint someone lookin for some cheap vietnamese food. Only real complaint is sometimes they’ll skimp out on the protein in the food (especially the banh mi), but it’s still worth it.
