Absolutely delicious! Fish sandwich was the special of the day – definitely recommend. Bloody Mary tasted homemade. I wanted to try so many things on the menu…we’ll be back!!!

Cozy place with nice atmosphere. We sat outside for brunch on a Sunday. Not a lot of shade by we liked it. Well made cocktails and food. Cheese and ranch were really good (and I don’t normally like ranch).

My family has eaten here 6 or 7 times, the food and service are consistently good. Always a lot of families here! The patio is super cool and feels trendy. I love the decor of the interior, a mix of modern and traditional diner. Ice cream is sooooo delicious. Fish fry is great. Cauliflower is wife fave.

Great diner experience. Had the fam burger with slaw. My daughter had the spam and egg sandwich. Both were very good. We started with the potato and rutabaga lattkes. They were outstanding. Staff was very helpful and patient with first-timers.

Chicken thigh sandwich for the win. Superb fries. Excellent cocktails using local ingredients. Lovely little neighborhood place.

Just moved to Madison and stopped for a beer and was pleasantly surprised by everything else. The staff is awesome and the food is great. Met Andrew who runs the place and he was hilarious! Get the fish fry, but really anything is good. Beer and shots too. Wish we knew about the patio before sitting down. Will be back, soon!

I can’t stress how perfect this place is for lunch! My family ate all over town in a visit to Madison, and this was hands down my favorite place. We chose to eat outside, but walked through the cute, indoor atmosphere that had a 21st century, classic diner vibe. Eating Al fresco was perfect, though! Plenty of shade in an intimate space, and the self-serve water station was appreciated on the hot day. We also brought our dog, and he was thankful for the ample dog bowls and accommodating staff who seemed truly happy to see and welcome our pet! And the food – so good! I had the burger and fries and ate every bite. Make this part of your trip to Madison, or a weekly visit if you live in town!

I’ve been twice with my family. Positives: I’m grateful that there’s a family friendly place at this location. The cheese curds are very good as are the burger and chicken sandwich. The hot dog is a high quality wiener. Negatives: The service tends to be a bit slow and haphazard. The patio is pretty drab and the inside is very cramped. The prices are high for what you get (two kids and two adults we paid over $100 after tip). If they’re trying to straddle the line between fast casual and a locally-owned, higher quality experience, the prices need to be lower. I might be back if in the area but it’s not a home run for me.

My mother and I had brunch here for Mother’s Day and it was wonderful! Our server Onah and all other staff we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. They really make the most of their space, so even though it’s small you still feel like you can breathe. I got today’s french toast special with coffee and my mother got today’s chicken and waffles special with a mimosa (both dishes pictured – my mom had already moved her butter around a bit when I took the picture so don’t mind that – everything was presented so beautifully!). We cleaned our plates and downed our drinks! Everything was very flavorful and the food was the perfect portion size – I didn’t walk away stuffed like I normally do at restaurants but I still felt satisfied. I know some other people have said pricing is a little high but I think the pricing was fine, especially for a small local business; including tip we spent just over $40 for the two of us. Side note – they also had a sort of rubik’s cube fidget toy at our table which I thought was a very cute touch – I forgot to take a picture of that. I definitely recommend this place!
