Had lunch at the East end Cafe for the first time and it was definitely worth writing about! As soon as we hit the door we were greeted by three people and the owner and were seated immediately! Then our waitress came out and brought us some fried pickles that were absolutely phenomenal! It felt like home and when we got to the main course the waitress brought my cheddar chicken and as soon as she sat it down she said “that looks like a desert chicken, I’m going to have them cook you another one because that breast is a little small!” I’ve never had a waitress or restaurant to not be satisfied with the portions and go cook more to make sure the customer was full! That speaks on the character of the restaurant and its employees making sure their food and their service was at the highest level! I couldn’t have asked for a better lunch and wish I would have known about this place sooner! I will be a regular every time I’m in the area and it’ll be the only place I go! If you’re looking for a great home-cooked meal and great people, all you have to do is go to the East end Cafe and you’ll find everything you’re looking for in one place!

The food was really great and the service even better. The only part of the dining experience that we wished we could have changed would be starting with dessert first so that we could have had more room for the fried chocolate pie, cheese cake, and key lime pie. We’ll definitely be back again soon.

Stopped in for the first time to have breakfast and immediately was made to feel welcomed and a part of the family of locals that are there every day. Both the staff and patrons made me feel like I belong and that I matter. I highly recommend the drive to East End Cafe it is worth the trip

My food was good and the service was excellent. I stopped by around 11 am today (a Sunday) which might have been the issue. The atmosphere was good until two older couples clearly fresh from church sat down at the table next to mine. Their conversation took an ugly turn when a young man and woman (one white, one black) walked in together and immediately left. The bigoted comments I overheard disgusted me and were completely idiotic. I’ve eaten here before but never on Sunday. I doubt I will be back, especially not during the times people like that are likely to frequent the dining room. BTW, I’m a middle age white woman and didn’t realize I stepped back 60 years until those couples sat down.

We love this place we drive from Little Rock to go here at least every weekend for lunch or dinner . The staff is always pleasant and very welcoming you can always spark up a conversation with the people across from you as everyone is so friendly. Did I mention that the food is delicious and always hot when it hits the table they have some really great sugar-free desserts too for those of you that enjoy sugar-free or are diabetic. They even have a patio which is great for bigger crowds or outside dining during the summer or warmer months. I definitely get this place a thumbs up when you think about the people that live out here the food in the hospitality you can’t beat that anywhere.

We love the variety of food options here, and the portions are always more than generous. The down home rotation of different desserts is also a plus. Sometimes you want a steak, other days you want some good old fashioned soul food. Other times you just want a big juicy burger with all the different choices of cheese and toppings. You can get it all in one place here.

Fried mushrooms are awesome, great taste, great price too! Veggie salad for $8 really needs to be made with spring mix! Iceberg lettuce with 2 bites of Romain lettuce thrown in isn’t worth it!! Server was great!

Having just moved heretofore Fort Worth, East End Cafe was highly recommended by my new landlord’s daughter. Very cozy, really nice waitresses and really good food…I will be back for more.
