We were just passing through and stopped in for breakfast. The service was great, staff is really friendly. The food was so good! Definitely recommend getting the homemade toast with your meal and the scrapple was the best we ever had!

Our waitress Addy was just the best. Sorry to say that is the only positive thing. Let me prefis by saying i heard everything with my own ears. The owner was so rude. The place closed at 8pm and that is fine. My husband and I were just finishing our meals. I asked for a refill of my soda and Addy went to get it when the owner stated “It’s 8pm they are on my time now.” The owner then said to Addy that she should not get me a refill of my soda because I would not drink it all and it would be waisted. The female owner did not even try to hide that fact that she was talking about me. Honestly I felt so bad for Addy. The female owner was definitely making Addy uncomfortable with her remarks and Addy was just doing as I the customer had asked. I can say that I will not be returning. I will not support an owner that does not care about the customer not the staff. If you do go to Earlystown ask to have Addy, she is the only good person (at least out of the 4 people I saw working that evening).

Earlystown Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful location in Centre Hall, PA. It’s right off a main road but back far away enough with a long drive way and plentiful parking that you feel like you’re secluded. Ceremonies are outside in the lawn and receptions are held under a tent. While the main house gives rooms to your bridal party and an area to get ready in the main house and there is a separate house detached for the other party.

I went there for breakfast and this place was very popular. My son likes it so much. He ate a lot of toast and an egg and big bacons. I ordered a ham steak. Good warm food especially in late fall and winter. The service boy is excellent.

I’m not from thr area, but came across this place after visiting Penns Cave. Glad I found it because the food was good, service was great and the prices were reasonable. If I ever find myself in the area again I will definitely return.

It’s a little outside of State College, but it’s a better option than Waffle Shop. It’s a great spot for breakfast and lunch. All their food tastes fresh made and has plenty of variety for a small business. The staff is always extremely nice and make you feel right at home. Get something different every time and each time it’s fantastic.

This is the place you’re looking for! The food is fantastic, the prices are right and the staff make you feel like you’re part of their family. Penny and the others working there make you feel right at home.

I ate here once before and it was really good. But today not so much. Very disappointed. I ordered the cheese omelet. It came with toast and homefries. And I ordered a diet pepsi. The toast was good. And the omelet was cooked perfectly, but it had an old grease aftertaste. The homefries did also. I ate most of the omelet but not the fries. I went to pay with my debit card and the server said it was cash only. I guess their card machine was down? Idk. I only had $2 cash on me which i left on the table as a tip, planning to leave more with my card. She said there’s an atm. It was right next to the register. So, i got $20 off my debit card. The bill was $15. The atm charged me a $2 fee and i know my bank will probably charge at least $3. So, i didn’t end up tipping more and I feel bad because it wasn’t the server’s fault. But wow…so i ended up paying $22 for breakfast which tasted awful. Lol. Oh well. I thought about telling them that the grill needed cleaning or something but I didn’t want to make a scene. Win some, lose some I suupose.

MY WORST EVER restaurant experience ! We waited 45 minutes for our sandwiches, while people who arrived after us had been served. I politely asked a waitress at the counter if our order would be ready soon. When a waitress finally brought our food, a woman appeared out of nowhere, grabbed the plate with my food, slammed it on the table in front of me and said, “I hope you don’t choke on it!”
