We had a real need for wings. Eagles Nest Sports Grill has been recommended several times so we gave it a try. I may never go anywhere else again for tasty crunchy wings. We ordered teriyaki, spicy honey, bbq, and chicken fried (yes, chicken fried chicken wings!). We also ordered an appetizer sampler with fried jalapeño, fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, and onion strings. The wings were bigger than any I’ve seen lately and were perfectly cooked. The sauces were flavorful but didn’t take away the crunch of the coating. Everything on the sampler platter was great also. There is a pretty extensive menu here so we’ll return soon for a ribeye or tacos or sandwiches, salad, or soup (the chili is almost world famous)..

The owner is one of my friends I have to admit that. Even though he’s a Texas a&m fan. He keeps a very nice bar. The lunchtime specials are awesome. They give you lots of food and it’s very tasty at a very good price. Everyday is a different special but they are all under $10. Come in here and watch a football game or watch golf or watch any sport you want to watch they got it. The waiting staff is awesome they’ve been there for a minute if that tells you anything.

First time I’ve been here and was pretty impressed. From New Mexico and I was visiting family. The atmosphere is great for a sports bar. Service started put great. Got our drinks quickly and had the appetizer quick too. Food came out still hot and tasted great. Had the ribeye steak fingers and was impressed on the size. Noticed that it started getting busy and then our waitress sort of vanished for awhile. Seemed like she was one of 2 servers which slowed things down. Other than that, everything was great. Highly recommend

Enjoyed the atmosphere, food is good (a little pricey as two adult meals and two kids meals cost $75) and ultimately this place is losing 2 stars for the rude staff – our waitress was rude, never came back, and was so short and unfriendly that I’m not sure we will return. Solid little dive bar. Straightforward beer/liquor offerings, nothing special from the bar, but the service was good and the people were cool. Heard so many good things about this place so I thought I would stop in today for a late lunch with the family. I wish I never stopped. Ordered our drinks and chips/salsa. It took 42 minutes before we got it. I seen a man and his daughter come in and they ordered chips and salsa. They got it within five minutes. Next our food came out about 10-15 minutes later and wouldn’t you know it, they messed up my food order so I sent it back. Brought it back again and was messed up again. At this point we’ve been there almost a hour and half. Got my check and left. Bad thing is they wasn’t even busy. I wanted so bad to like this place as it’s less than five minutes from the house. Please get better waitstaff. As a former waiter myself , please do better!!!!!!!!
