This was the 2nd visit to this establishment…I will say I’m not sure where the bad reviews came from. This restaurant was exactly what I expected from a small town East Texas eatery.

Paid 9 bucks for the skimpiest salad ever. Cup of Lettuce. A bit of chopped tomato and a torn up chicken patty . McDonalds has a better salad for 3 bucks

This restaurant is exactly what you would expect from a quaint, small-town East Texas cafe. You don’t stop at a place like this if you’re in a rush, although we never had to wait long for our food. This is the kind of place where the locals meet, eat, and talk about the up-and-coming high school sports stars and how the weather is impacting their ranch. It is a whole cultural experience. The burgers don’t disappoint, the onion rings are homemade. Everything is awesome!

I was NOT impressed by the fish dinner portions, all fillets were cut down the middle and sold as a full sized portion. Looked like thin fish planks.

Portions sure are getting smaller… Glad y’all finally started putting the coleslaw and beans in a container. It wasn’t cool at all eating soggy fish and fries… Large catfish is what I order every time and now I only get half of what I used to get and y’all are still charging the same price. Needs to be called catfish tender strips!

DO NOT GOOOOO… the food was so nasty. We where told that they did not have things because the truck did not come in. Oatmeal is out of package. The restaurant is very dirty. Food was cold and tasted old. Also only 1 slice of toast and no discount for not having the items that are in the combo. All I can say is KEEP DRIVING DO NOT STOP…
