This is the best little diner I’ve found. I have driven all the way from the University of South Florida area in north Tampa just to eat at Ellie’s place. I love the cafeteria line, where you get meat, three sides, biscuit or roll and your drink. You have to try Mike’s famous grilled pork chops or his fried chicken. My favorite sides are mashed potatoes with country gravy, lima beans, pole beans, country green beans

Had a group of 12. Made reservations and all was handled perfectly. Waitress did a phenomenal job of handling us all. I got the Buffett which was not up to par as it usually is. Everyone had great food and a good time.

Very different than I expected for a diner. Amazing buffet type service. We got to choose a meat option, three country sides, cornbead or roll, and a drink for $11.99. Fried porkchops and Salisbury steak are so scrumptious. Best cabbage I have ever eaten and mashed potatoes are like your granny’s. We will definitely be back.

My husband and grandson spent our lunch on this President’s Day, at this wonderful Eagles Lake Diner. This dinner is truly epic. Not only was the food awesome but so was the service. I had the mushroom and swiss omelet with a side of pancakes and grits, my husband had pick your own buffet style lunch, and my grandson had pancakes, bacon and strawberry shortcake. Everything was delicious! This one place that I wanna go back every time I can make it.
