Food was lacking much flavor and wasn’t as amazing as I hoped. The mashed potatoes were definitely instant. But the pie crust was amazing. Our server was SUPER sweet and even raked the meringue off the pie before she brought it out, because she heard me say I fought like it! I’ll go back & try something different next time.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Dutchman’s Daughter. This is a quaint little restaurant that appears to be a converted historic home. The menu is eclectic, American food. I had the all-you-can-eat spaghetti with meat sauce. This was good old fashioned spaghetti – the kind you would get when your American Mom cooked from scratch at home. This isn’t old-world Italian cooking – but basic, hearty, flavorful American fare. It was served with garlic bread.

Across from Wal-Mart much better than Cracker Barrel. See where all the locals eat for better food at better prices. Homemade and excellent menu selection from veggie to all meat. Kielbasa and cabbage with red potatoes, Italian food, American food, wide selection. FYI. It is my first time at this place as I am visiting from near Charleston WV area.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I did love the small town feel and appearance of it and I was excited to try the food. I had the a Italian chicken pasta salad which came with a ton of mozzarella cheese and garlic bread. So the pasta was really cold not even warm and the garlic bread was very greasy and soggy. My husband’s mash potatoes were not homemade they seem to be instant. We also tried the berry cobbler which was not to bad but it won’t really call it berries cobbler since it wasn’t even baked. I will not return but everyone has there own taste.

This is an adorable local place with tasty comfort food at a good price. We camped out at the table for 2 plus hours while working and they were sweet as pie the whole time. Definitely recommended.

Good home cooked, comfort food. Wish they had someone to seat you when they are busy so you don’t have to walk through the entire seating area only to find a dirty or no table available yet.

my pregnant fiancé and i sat in there for a good 12 minutes with no service, or a menu. a couple walked in and sat down 5 minutes after us and was waited on instantly. definitely will never come back. you’d think they’d want a younger crowd in there but i guess not.
