Expected more from this place as it is talked about often. It wasn’t bad, but I can’t say it was fantastic either. I ordered a taco salad. It was a nice snack but not what I would appreciate for a meal. If I may, SALAD to me means greens topped with the meat, cheese, etc. not just a sprinkle of lettuce on top of everything. The waitress was nice and accommodating. I would probably go again and order something different just to see if I am more impressed.

A great old fashioned diner. Our sandwiches were good and the french fries were the highlight. Just don’t bother with the chips with the salsa because they were fairly stale.

So they do not open at 6am, but the owner saw us desperate for early morning coffee and invited us in. We stayed until the cooking began and had a delicious breakfast! The “local” coffee drinkers made us feel welcome.

Stopped by with no expectations and n our way home from Colorado to Albuquerque. Chile Relleno was delicious! Green chili delicious! Carne Adobado pork chop was great. Plain iced tea with a real lemon slice! And we’re from New Mexico, so we know what good chili tastes like. Nice service too.

Had lunch there while driving through town. I had a BLT while my wife had a tuna salad sandwich. Both were solid meals and we liked the chips and salsa before the meal. Service was great—my wife had some special t requests and she worked hard to fill them.

We get the chance to travel through antonito every couple of years. This was the first time that the trip took us through town during the lunch hour. This little cafe doesn’t look like much on the outside but it does have a nice interior and they very decent menu. Their Mexican plates are quite good. The bathrooms are well-maintained.

If you like green chile in the northern New Mexico style, come to the Dutch Mill. Yes, it’s in Colorado, but culturally the San Luis valley is similar to northern NM. The stuffed sopapilla, chile rellenos, and huevos rancheros were all delicious.

Some of the best Mexican-American I’ve ever had. Im from NY, so don’t @ me. Was not expecting this experience based on the sign but holy smokes this place and town I’ll remember for a long time. I got the Flauta plate; flavors were amazing especially the pulled chicken.
