Staff very friendly, honest and knowledgeable about the food. Gave good advice on what to choose. Fresh homemade chili… we ordered a deluxe cheeeburger, a chicken sandwich with Buffalo sauce (it was a specialty sandwich) and a hot dog with two sides of curly fries. The food was made fresh. The burger was a little undercooked for our liking. But for the most part delicious.

My wife and I were visiting Boothbay Harbor and when looking online for a place to have a nice casual lunch – we discovered Dunton’s Doghouse. There was a constant group lining up for service, wait was short – food excellent. We got a small mixed seafood plate and it was excellent. There were many sandwich choices – all looked very good. Prices were very reasonable. A hidden gem – highly recommended.

Off the beaten path walk-up cash-only eatery that has plenty of picnic tables to sit at. Good solid food. Vending machine drinks only. Great lunch spot away from the crazy areas. Will definitely be returning next time we are in Boothbay!
